Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too - Black Mirror - S5 E3
For her fifteenth birthday festivity, Rachel Goggins (Angourie Rice) gets another AI doll named "Ashley Too", which has a character exhibited after Rachel's favored pop vocalist, virtuoso Ashley O (Miley Cyrus). Rachel begins to trust in Ashley Too, viewing it as a partner rather than a toy, to the disturbance of her progressively settled sister Jack (Madison Davenport). Ashley Too convinces Rachel to move to Ashley's tune "On a Roll" at a school capacity challenge, yet the standard completes seriously when Rachel falls. Jack stows away Ashley Too and uncovers to Rachel that she disposed of it.
At that point, the authentic Ashley O is unsatisfied with her image and forms tunes that her chief and aunt Catherine (Susan Pourfar) acknowledges will undermine Ashley's creating accomplishment. Catherine finds that Ashley has not been taking medication intended to counter her darker outlooks. At dinner, Catherine ties Ashley's sustenance with an enormous estimation of this medicine, impelling a stupor like a state. Catherine charges the obviousness for an outrageous ominously vulnerable reaction to shellfish to explain the pop star's nonattendance.
In the wake of hearing the report about Ashley, Jack gives Ashley Too back to Rachel. A half-year later, Ashley Too is ordered by a news report. She learns of her authentic self's extraordinary lethargies, and that Catherine has been removing music from Ashley O's dreams for another assortment, coupling checks with the voice accounts made for the Ashley To dolls. Ashley Too breakdowns, so the two youngsters connect her to their father's PC and accidentally remove a "limiter" framework. Without the limiter, Ashley Too has a full electronic copy of Ashley O's mind.
The doll convinces the two youngsters to take her to Ashley's home to assemble mechanized verification from her authentic self's PC. They fake their way past Ashley's gatekeeper, just to have Ashley Too disconnect what it acknowledges is Ashley's life support, having expected to euthanize her. In any case, it turns out the equipment was keeping Ashley in an incited daze like state. Ashley O stirs and they all take off, running to the scene where Catherine is presenting Ashley Eternal, a holographic substitution for Ashley O that can perform at music visits. Sought after by the police resulting in running a red light, they crash onto the stage. Ashley adventures out and Catherine comprehends her course of action has failed.
Sometime later, Ashley is exhibited performing with Jack as an elective stone craftsman called "Ashley Fuckn O" while Rachel and Ashley Too watch. Two of Ashley's past fans exit in dismay at their heavenly article's new heading.
Black Museum - Black Mirror - S4 E6
Black Museum E6 S4
Nish visits the remote Black Museum while keeping it together for her vehicle to stimulate. The proprietor, Rolo Haynes, offers to show her around the "tenable criminological old rarities", giving annals of some through flashbacks in the scene.
One article associations with Haynes' past as a neurological research enlistment expert. He persuaded Dr. Decrease Dawson (Daniel Lapaine) to get a preliminary implant that let him feel the torment of others in order to help in the clinical end. In any case, Dawson got subject to using his patients' torment for sexual energy. Ousted from the facility, Dawson was caught for tormenting and executing a transient, regardless fell into a condition of torpor.
A resulting thing is a stuffed monkey. Haynes had convinced a man named Jack (Aldis Hodge) to move the perception of his unconscious life partner Carrie (Alexandra Roach) into his own brain, letting her offer his sensations. In any case, this transformed into a cost: Jack had no security and Carrie had no office, particularly with their adolescent Parker. Jack began dating Emily (Yasha Jackson), who convinced Jack to move Carrie into the stuffed monkey, compelled to talking only two articulations. Parker got the monkey, anyway after a short time got wore out on it, and Haynes claims Carrie's mindfulness is still inside the toy.

Nish tells Haynes Clayton was guiltless anyway the state never resentful the conviction, and the presentation has pulled in savages and racists pursuing Clayton's circumstance. Along these lines, her mother overdosed on pills and alcohol.

She leaves the display lobby with the stuffed monkey while ousting a device from the atmosphere control framework, which shorts out and starts to devour. As the display is overpowered ablaze, Nish drives away and chats with her mother, who shares her insight, both happy to have fought back for Clayton.

Technology Is Reinventing Humanity | Jordan Nguyen | TEDxSydney
Jordan highlights the importance of technology and how quickly it is changing. No matter we agree or not but we are the most absorbed people in the world of technology. So what is this rise of virtual reality? He shares his experience where his Dad introduced him to this but he was not only fascinated by it but also disturbed by the constant fatigue to having something around his face which gave him bad headaches. But when he experienced it again in a much-refined form it was like standing in a virtual room with so much going on in your head that you started to feel this has happened before, that is how powerful it is. There are certain ideas that can create a virtual copy of us. You do not need a very hardcore technology for that in fact only artificial intelligence having a skeleton-like person standing in front of you with a few languages taught to them. You can actually reinvent your other version like that. Can we say technology is reinventing humans but destroying humanity? Because in that way the robotic version of us will only look like us but will not have feelings and emotions like we do. Gestures, mannerisms and more can be easily taught so the system can speak on their behalf.
He further mentioned his grandfather passing away when he was a baby and if this concept had existed in the past, he would have actually visited a virtual copy of his grandfather. To be able to talk to him and speak to him. Think about you standing right in front of your virtual image, how incredibly weird?! But exciting at the same time. What would you say to your virtual self?
The Impact of Technology on Communication | Grant Dillard | TEDxBrentwoodCollegeSchool
Grant started his TEDTalk by humorously telling about an incident happen to him and his friends in college. They had an encounter with a strange man one night who took out the revolver and pointed at them which eventually changed the way they were communicating to him, this time fearful and anxious. Humans have been given this amazing ability which is the ability to communicate with each other and understand our problems and situations then come up with solutions to them. About 6,500 languages exist today have vastly evolved over the years. Verbal communication is a gift!! Think about it! We are able to communicate our thoughts and ideas with each other each and every day! So what has technology has given us? Emoticons!!! Different smileys to send each other on Whatsapp, Facebook, and other social media platforms to express how we feel about any situation or a person. Over 4,000 years ago Egyptians used to communicate with each other using different symbols. So does that mean we are going back again?
Leaders in the past have addressed their followers by delivering great speeches and nowadays so-called leaders of the word upload one Tweet to express their happiness, sorrow or grief. Dating has been a victim of technology as well - in a good and bad way. You can simply swipe on someone and match! Many relationships suffer due to lack of communication and more of avoidance because everybody is busy swiping their phone! What a terrible thought to have such a relationship where technology is more valued than the person.
Now, whatever happens in our life, wherever it takes us we need to know that Communication Is Key! Literally, we can not Snapchat our ways into our careers, we need to have a DIALOG and actually, for once, COMMUNICATE. A lot of people fail to realize but communication is a skill that should be practiced thoroughly. We can not and must not allow our phones to disconnect from each other because that is one of the biggest failures of human beings. So let us TALK!!!
Can You Innovate Within Large Organizations? | Joshua Mitro Lavra | TEDxPSU
Joshua started the talk defining the word creativity. It's a lovely word with plenty of different meanings because for each one of us creativity is different. Some of us apply creativity in decorating the house, some apply in creating art and some applications in their organizations belonging to different fields. Creativity is a mix of excitement, fear, and vulnerability. It's like putting your ideas out there to the world. The most interesting thing about creativity is that it has only been a part of the English language for 90 years. Sometime between 1929 to 1930 it started being applied in industrialization and it became a common mantra to create and innovate. He then explained it through a graph between Market Share and Time. Starting from mediocre and slow companies that saw a decline including Blockbuster and Kodak, they lost the track of time and ended up disappointing their audience. Then come to a group of innovative and fast companies like Apple, Google, and Tesla, these are the companies that innovate their products with time. Now comes a group of creative and agile companies like GE and IDEO, they are doing intrapreneurship. Intrapreneurship is the idea of being creative in your own organization.
1. WHY? -> to innovate and grow
2. WHO? -> cultural contributors - who challenge the status quo
3. WHAT? -> revolutionary and evolutionary ideas - harder to implement
4. HOW? -> build, learn and measure - repeat it all over again!
When you are working in innovation you need to ask yourself WHY are you doing this and what impact is it going to bring into society. WHY did you choose your career and majors? It's important to ask questions, especially it's important to ask WHY? Everyone is capable of doing innovative and remarkable things whether you are in a small organization or large organization. Innovation happens every day and when you learn to ask yourself these questions you will be able to come up with innovative stuff.
Don't get ready, get started
